This little creature was pretty easy to create. I began by sketching her out. I wanted her to have a witchy look, but not to be exactly the most typical looking witch.
After I sketched her out, I then created her clothes, her arms, and the shape of her head.
This particular prompt was a bit more challenging than it should have been. I began with the idea of creating an upside down desert landscape that would be visible through the window; however, once I tried executing it, I did not like the look of it at all.
I decided to make a pair of conjoined twins for today’s prompt. I wanted them to be young and sweet looking, but for there to be a macabre scene around them. (I still need to create the macabre elements.)
After I worked on the TV and posted it online, I realized that a TV is not an appliance. Oh well, I made a lamp previously, which is an appliance.
Instead of drawing a typical tombstone, I opted to draw a mausoleum with tombstones. It would also serve as the backdrop for the story of the queen.
Today’s challenge was a bit difficult. I knew I couldn’t create the onscreen video game, without creating the TV, which is meant to be part of another prompt. But it was also easy in that it would be a fast one, allowing me to add more details to the bedroom (formerly known as a living room).
I decided to make a little boy doing something bad that would cause a superstitious event to occur. He would be painting (or attempting to paint) on an art wall in order to look cool. However, as superstition has it, anyone who paints over those walls, will feel the wrath of the artist who made the original street art.
This prompt was such a fun one to work on. I love the way it came out, for the most part. However, there are a couple of changes that need to be made in order for it to look the way I want it to, but I’ll figure that out at a later time.
When I was pairing up the different prompts to come up with 6 different light boxes, I had no idea what I would do for dice. I couldn’t picture adding a pair of dice to any of my scenes – it just didn’t make sense. Therefore, I decided to use the verb form of the word and incorporate it into the little queen’s world.
