Day 19 – One Eyed – #AprilArtChallenge

This little creature was pretty easy to create. I began by sketching her out. I wanted her to have a witchy look, but not to be exactly the most typical looking witch.

After I sketched her out, I then created her clothes, her arms, and the shape of her head.

I then added hair. I cut out different pieces of black and gray and glued them from the top only. The next step was creating a hat.

To give her more of an evil look and a glow, I added yellow vellum paper on one eye, red vellum paper behind the other eye and purple vellum paper behind the mouth.

Lastly, I glued the pieces together, using the original sketch as the base and I added color with marker and colored pencil. I made sure to add black marker to most of the red eye so that she would look like she had recently lost it.
