My favorite moment in April was definitely creating so many light boxes out of paper. Prior to this monthly challenge, I was creating a light box a month. I did not think I would be able to create six light boxes that were so detailed in one month, but I did it, and I couldn’t be happier with the end result.
To represent my favorite moment, I created little paper people that would be the witch’s friends, along with a few more props, like scissors, a craft knife and a piece of paper with a paper person cut out.
The paper dolls were extremely simple to make. I wanted them to be in different positions and up to no good. Therefore, I made some of them running around with needles to poke the voodoo dolls, and I made other ones hanging from the shrunken heads, while others were in various other positions.
The paper elements were so much fun to make and they really added to the story.
I created some more elements for the scene, but I will discuss those in the blog I will be writing about this light box overall. That will be up sometime this week. Stay tuned!
